Homemade Liver Dog Treats Recipe
|
1 pound of slightly frozen pasture
raised liver
When you prepare dog food or dog treats from beef liver, it is
important to use hormone free, steroid free, and antibiotic free liver
that is pasture raised. The cow's liver filters toxins so you
want to avoid feeding your dog concentrations of toxins.
Cut small strips of liver while it is slightly frozen.
Completely thawed liver is extremely hard to handle. Place the
strips on dehydrator sheets and dehydrate at low heat for several
hours.
We prefer to use an Excalibur dehydrator for homemade dog treats. If
you don't have a dehydrator, just use your oven on the lowest heat
setting.
100% liver dog treats are extremely healthy for your pet as long as
you use healthy beef liver. If you don't have time to make your
own dog treats, consider ordering our Smokehouse
